You asked us to look at SPEEDING on Lodge Road, High Street and Thorpe Road, Tattershall and High Street Coningsby ….  

The graph below indicates the number of speed checks carried out at these locations and the amount of vehicles caught in excess of the speed restriction in force.

  No Persons were found to be in excess of a speed limit to an extent that an endorsable ticket would be issued.

 The maximum speed that any motorists were found to be doing was 35mph in a 30mph zone.

 All motorists were spoken to at the time and will receive warning letters issued by Lincolnshire Police.

 The Panel have now removed this as a priority BUT the Neighbourhood Policing Team WILL continue to monitor these areas and carry out sporadic speed checks.

 

DEAN WILLIAMS MR of Sherwood Road, Coningsby found guilty of driving a motor vehicle above the legal alcohol limit. Fined £350.00. To pay costs of £58.00. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 18 month(s). Disqualification to be reduced by 4 months if by 27/06/2011 the defendant satisfactorily completes a course approved by the Secretary of State. Course fee £150.00. 

DARRELL TRIPP MR of Tattershall Lakes, Sleaford Road, Tattershall found guilty of being the keeper of a vehicle, which was alleged to have been used on a road in contravention of section 29 of the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994, failed to give such information as to the identity of the person who kept the said vehicle on the road. Fined £175.00. To pay costs of £75.00. 

REED LEWIS ALLEN MR of Woodhall Spa found guilty of shoplifting On 19/05/2010 at Coningsby, after stealing a bottle of Vodka valued at £9.99 belonging to the Co-op. Community Order: Participate in Low Intensity Alcohol Programme for 17 days and Carry out unpaid work for 120 hours within the next twelve months.

Operation Fusion /NoVA:

Operation FusionOperation Nova

Operation Fusion focuses on serious acquisitive crime including burglary, robbery and vehicle crime. The Woodhall Spa NPT will be involved on the next “day of action” as part of the Operation’s innovate measures.

Operation Nova is a pseudonym for “No to Violence and Abuse”. This is a long-term operation to reduce alcohol related Anti Social Behaviour and reduce the violence in the night time economy.
