Anti-social behaviour is any aggressive, intimidating or destructive
activity that damages or destroys another person’s quality of life.
The term ‘anti-social behaviour’ includes a variety of behaviour
covering a whole range of selfish and unacceptable activity that can
blight the quality of community life.
Other terms such as ‘nuisance’, ‘neighbour disputes’ and ‘disorder’ are
used to describe some of this behaviour.
Neighbourhood Policing teams work alongside various agencies including
East Lindsey District Council and social housing agencies to effectively
deal with persons engaging in anti-social behaviour. This can include
effecting acceptable behaviour contracts or even securing an eviction
notice for those engaging in such behaviour.
