Public Forum
Prior to the meeting public forum was held
four members of public attended plus community beat Officer Alison Evans who
reported that the Anti Social behaviour is down this year but worryingly the
spate of arson attacks have increased, one arrest has been made using CCTV
evidence and will be in court shortly, the police are receiving lots of hoax
calls, once again a request was made to ask residents to report any
suspicious activity.
Chairmans Report
Cllr Richard Pick introduced Kathy Roberts
temporary Clerk to council, he gave a round of thanks to Jean Girling who
left the post recently having just completed the portfolio for the Councils
Quality Status (re submission) this has to be assessed every four years,
many thanks to Jean for her work over the past years.
Cllr Pick also mentioned the spate
of arson attacks reinforcing the police request for reports to be placed and
condolences to all that have been affected personally by the attacks.

Cllr Mrs B Harvey reported back from Highways stating
they are consultees the same as the parish council of any other statutory
body, another public meeting is being arranged date & time TBC. Cllr S
Coulber commented that the last public meeting was very one sided with
supporters of the application actually leaving the room more structure is
required to allow for all views to be raised.

letter received also sent to CEMEX from parishioner
proposal to write to CEMEX and confirm receipt of letter dated 3rd
August 2009 .

4316 Health & Safety Risk
Assessment
Cllr P Barrack reported that most
things were in order and supplied an action report, one serious issue the 2
bins burnt out in Market place need to be replaced, Insurance claim forms
have bee requested.
4317 Christmas Tree Lighting
Ceremony
Date confirmed Thursday 3rd
December.
Cllr S Coulber is against the
Council supporting the procession and refreshments, he has no problem with
the lighting ceremony but felt this was enough. After discussion it was
proposed to continue as last year due to the fact that the event was
extremely successful, vote taken 10 votes for and one against; Proposal
Resolved in favour; committee formed to arrange event.

Date 30th April Proposed, seconded and
resolved.

After discussion it was proposed to try a new format next
year, no speaker, just some background music & possibly an after dinner
quiz, seconded and Resolved; details tbc.
4319 Tattershall Thorpe War
Memorial
Grant application for refurbishment,
the proposal fits the small grants scheme which would reimburse up to 50% of
the cost, the quotes received are too varied all three contractors are to
be ask to re quote to a specification to be supplied by Council.
4320 Reports on Outside
Meetings
Woodland Trust sites at Tattershall
Carrs- meeting with Eric Porter confirmed that works agreed will be carried
out Jan/ Feb 2010; more clarification is needed to confirm the
responsibilities and ownership.
4321 Reports from District &
County Councillors
Cllr Stan Avison reported on the
very sad sudden death of Cllr Dr Taffinder; who had been a very prominent
member of the District Council for many years.
Request to Council to chase Jonathan
Stockdale regarding a disabled footway, he would like to request this be on
next months agenda.
Cllr Mrs Betty Harvey had received
two letters from parishioners,1. Mrs Judith Laird has been running a play
scheme in Revesby over many years this is to close, any money left in
account will be shared between the parish childrens groups;2. Request for a
pedestrian crossing Tattershall, this area has been assessed by highways
in the past to no avail, the request is noted.
