Mr C Davies, Architect
The
Chairman welcomed guest speakers, members and approximately 20 members of
the public to the meeting. Guest speakers gave a presentation on the
proposed Market Place Enhancement Scheme.
A general
discussion took place with members of the public and the speakers. The main
concerns were that the proposed changes did not reflect the well being of
residents, particularly on the east side of the A153. The loss of car
parking spaces was a serious problem for businesses and residents.
The
consensus of opinion was that the proposed scheme should be rejected and
members of the public requested that the council write to LCC and ELDC
accordingly.
The
Chairman thanked everyone for attending and closed the public interval.
