WHAT IS DIAL- A -RIDE?
Dial-a-ride is a door to door service for those who
are unable to use or find it difficult to use public transport such as the
elderly, the disabled or socially isolated. The drivers of the vehicles are
trained both in first aid and in the assistance of wheelchair users and
those with mobility problems.
HOW DO I
QUALIFY?
- You must live in the
area covered on the map (unless temporary membership is being applied
for)
- You must not have your
own transport available
- You must not be able
to use other forms of public transport
- Age and disability are
irrelevant. If you have no other access to transport then you will
qualify

WHEN CAN I
TRAVEL?
The service is available
from Monday to Friday between 08.30am and 17.30pm excluding public holidays.
